Important events

In Tripura there is now three RSETIs functioning. These are stationed at Agartala in Tripura(W) run by Tripura Gramin Bank , Udaipur in Tripura(S) district run by United Bank of India ,and the latest came up in Ambassa in Dhalai district also sponsored by United Bank of India . State Bank of India is to set up its RSETI in Tripura (N) district soon Financial Literacy cum credit Counseling centers (FLCCs) centers is expected to come up at the premises of RSETI as per suggestion of SLBC very shortly.

Financial Inclusion: 100% Financial inclusion has already been achieved in Tripura(W)District. In other three districts it is nearing 100% of the Target.

Banking outlets in Unbanked / Under banked centers: 419 nos of unbanked villages having population over 2000 have been identified and allocated amongst all member Banks to complete the process of Financial inclusion by March 2012.
